This is a Contact Page for all area Artists and Members of the Covered Bridge Art Association who may be interested in area and state art and photography contests. We hope to give all artists an opportunity to share their art talents with a larger audience by letting you know what contests or exhibits are available in our area! Please contact appropriate sponsoring organizations, offices, or state departments to get full details about subject matter, deadlines, and submission details. Many contests are annual so keep these in mind each year as you consider new subjects and new art work that may be entered in contests at various times of the year!

Indiana Gourd Society State Show (weekend in May)
Take in the excitement of Gourds at this show! Check the schedule of events to take part in
workshops to decorate gourds from jewelry, bird houses, to drums and sculpture! Sign up for Gourd Art Raffles, watch gourd videos and let the kid's create their own art at the Kid's Booth.
Held at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Indiana on the first weekend of May.

1 BEST OF SHOW (Do not enter this class) - rosette - Awarded in the Professional Division for the art piece of special
excellence. This award will be selected by the jury of judges from the first place winners of each class in the professional division - $250
2 PAINTINGS - this class will include all entries in oil, acrylics, synthetics and airbrush. Must be properly framed. - $300-225-150-100-50
3 WATER COLOR PAINTINGS - this class will include transparent or opaque water colors or collages. Plexiglass is preferred but not required. Glass or plexiglass will not be replaced if broken. - $300-225-150-100-50
4 SCULPTURE - this class will include ceramic, wood, metals, fabric or mixed media.(Woodcarving is excluded and must be entered in class number 114-PF-18)(sculpture weighing over 50 pounds will not be accepted).- $150-100-50
5 DRAWINGS - This class will include pencil and ink, any subject - $150-100-50 (no pastels)
6 PASTELS - This class will include works done in pastels, any subject - $150-100-50
