The Covered Bridge Art Association Celebrated Our 50th Anniversary!June 2015 marked 50 years for The Covered Bridge Art Association and 30 years in our historic downtown 3 story building, now our Gallery. Celebrations began in May with our annual Active Member's Spring Show as we honored our Founding Member Louise Michael. Her vision and the interest of many local artists founded our association that has encouraged art appreciation, art education, and the art experience for all Parke County citizens and visitors.

Special Presentation by Artist Bill Wolfe explained his Sculpting Interest and Process!
Gallery Members and Community Members alike enjoyed a special presentation from Vigo County Artist Bill Wolfe. He displayed some of his sculpture models and explained his love of sculpting and his process, from the wire foundation, application of modeling clay, to final foundry casting. His sculptures are featured around the state and in Terre Haute where "Larry Bird" welcomes visitors to Hulman Center on the campus of Indiana State University. "Circus! Circus!" Anniversary Celebration! June 2015Circus theme fun was the name of the game for 50th Anniversary on June 28, 2015. Circus decorations, door prizes, games and refreshments were shared with family friends, Gallery friends, Community friends, and budding new "little" artists! Our Many Thanks to everyone who shared our day with us!
